Hence AI

    Terms of use

The rules for using Hence AI while it is free and in testing. Last updated 20 October 2026.

Hence AI is provided by its founder in Canada, as a private test for invited people. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

    What Hence AI is

Hence AI reads public sources about your market and uses AI to write a briefing: trends, what they may mean for your business, and suggested first steps. It is in an early testing stage and is free. Features may change, pause or stop, and we may limit how many briefings one visitor can start.

    It is information, not advice

    • A briefing is a starting point for your own judgement. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment or other professional advice.
    • AI can be wrong, and sources can be wrong or out of date. Every trend shows its sources: check them before you act, and talk to a qualified adviser for important decisions.
    • Suggested steps, timings and effort are rough guides, not promises of any result.

    Using it fairly

    • Describe your own business, or one you are allowed to research. Do not enter personal details about other people, or confidential information you are not allowed to share (see the privacy page).
    • Do not use Hence AI for anything unlawful, to harm others, or to overload, scrape, copy or break the service.

    Who owns what

You may use your briefing freely for your own business, including sharing it with your team, partners or lender. The articles and pages a briefing cites belong to their publishers; we link to them and quote only short parts. The Hence AI service, its design and its software belong to us.

    Our responsibility

Hence AI is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it is accurate, complete or always available. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a briefing, or for indirect losses such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not allow to be limited, such as consumer rights where you live.

    Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above will change and the new terms apply from then. Paid plans, when they start, will have their own terms shown before you pay. You can stop using Hence AI at any time and delete your data on the privacy page. We may stop access for anyone who breaks these terms.

    Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Canada, without taking away protections you have under the law where you live. Questions: use the founder’s contact details you received with your invitation.
